Great work with the couch. I only have two suggestions. Make the dress color a little closer to the color of the rug and make the color of your shirt and hair just a litle lighter and/or grainier. We can talk about it in class. Great job!
Really good work with blinding the leg/ foot area into the photo and cloning the couch!, there need to be a shadow under the leg but it isn't very noticeable at first. Also there is a dark area on you left shoulder that could have some gray noise added. But all-in-all with the subtle colors the image as a whole works! =P
I think this turned out really well. I agree with what Shane said in class about making it look like they're pages from a magazine- a very cool effect! Especially if it's up-played. The touches of color were well placed. Only thing is the shadow from your legs that needs to be cast on the couch.
I agree I really like this image as a magazine-like post card! I normally don't like random objects in color while the rest of the image is black and white but I think you executed this really well and chose a good color palette to color the objects with.
